Lukáš Kolenička represented Slovakia at the CFMOTO MT Challenge world event in Australia

Australian dust, kangaroos, and hundreds of kilometers of adrenaline in the saddle. Motorcyclist Lukáš Kolenička from Brezno was the only Slovak to participate in the prestigious CFMOTO MT Challenge 2025 event in Australia, where he successfully represented the Czech-Slovak colors together with Czech riders. They not only took 7th place in the competition, but also gained experience that they want to use at home.

Australia became the venue for a unique adventure that brought together motorcyclists from around the world. The CFMOTO MT Challenge 2025 featured 20 teams from different countries, including a Czech-Slovak team consisting of Lukáš Kolenička as the only Slovak, along with three Czech riders, Martin Haušild, Honza Šlemenda, and Matěj Oliv. "It was one big adventure full of adrenaline and fun. Even though we were two countries, we worked as one team and enjoyed it to the fullest," Lukáš describes.

The event lasted two days and tested the riders' skills, speed, and endurance. The first day featured skill tests and speed trials full of mud, obstacles, and challenging terrain. The second day featured a 180-kilometer ride through the Australian bush with two speed trials and a strength discipline in which riders had to carry their motorcycles over a large wooden log.

"The best part was representing our country among 20 teams from around the world. The atmosphere was like the Olympics—we carried flags and the energy was electric. Driving in the Australian bush was extremely exotic—unusual trees, plants, and even kangaroos," adds Lukáš. According to him, the biggest challenge was finding a compromise between speed, safety, and points, but he considers the experience in Australia to be one of the most valuable in his career.

Among 80 participants from 20 countries, the Czech-Slovak team placed 7th, which is an excellent result given the strong competition. After returning to Slovakia, Lukáš plans to use his experience from the international event in our HENDUROT. "The organization in Australia was of an extremely high standard, and I hope that we will be able to transfer some of this experience to our projects in Slovakia," concludes Lukáš. He is already preparing for the next season, during which he plans to participate in several international competitions and at the same time help develop the enduro community at home.
